The Airscale Japanese Second World War instruments 1:48 set of colored waterslide decals for detailed finishing of cockpits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of full-color waterslide decals from the British maker Airscale in 1:48 scale. It contains the dials of the cockpit instruments used in the cockpits of Japanese aircraft during the Second World War. It serves to bring the instrument panel and the side panels to life realistically. It is not a model or a kit but a finishing accessory.
The decals show the instruments for flight, navigation and engine monitoring typical of the Japanese army and navy aircraft of the time. Every dial is on the sheet separately with a minimum of carrier film, which makes accurate placement easier. The set combines well with photo-etched instrument bezels.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss coat, which prevents silvering. Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it releases, slide it into place. A decal softener is recommended, and going over it with a matte clear coat at the end.
This is a stand-alone accessory. The model of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
