A sheet of full-color waterslide decals from the British maker Airscale in 1:48 scale. It contains the placards, manufacturer's plates and lettering found in the cockpits of German aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s. It serves to finish instrument panels, side panels and controls realistically. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory for raising the detail.
The decals are intended for the cockpits of common Luftwaffe types and help to bring an interior to life with small lettering and manufacturer's plates. Every motif is on the sheet separately with a minimum of carrier film, so that no glossy edge forms after application. You can use the set as a companion to photo-etched details or on its own on plastic parts.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss coat, which prevents silvering. Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it releases, slide it off the backing into place. A decal softener is recommended, and going over the surface with a matte clear coat at the end.
This is a stand-alone accessory. The model of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
