About product

Luftwaffe WWII instrument decals in 1:48 (Airscale)

This is a set of decals, not a model. The sheet offers colored, finely drawn dials of the cockpit instruments common in the aircraft of the Luftwaffe of the Second World War period. The decals serve to finish the instrument panel and the cockpit faithfully in 1:48 scale.

What the set contains

  • Colored decals of instrument dials for flight, navigation, the engine and other systems
  • Each instrument separately with a minimum of carrier film
  • Color distinction of the functional groups of instruments
  • A small sheet of clear film to imitate the instrument glasses

Use

The decals are applied to the instrument panel in the usual way; a decal softener improves how they settle. It is worth working with tweezers and a sharp knife, because the individual dials are small. Choose the shade of the base so that the instruments stand out.

Who the set is for

For modelers of German aircraft of the Second World War in 1:48 scale who want a realistic instrument panel without laboriously painting the dials by hand.

This is an accessory (decals), not a complete model. The kit is not included in the package.
