1:48 WWII - Wehrmacht DAK tan Zeltbahns

1:48 WWII Wehrmacht DAK tan Zeltbahns, ETA Diorama

This is a diorama accessory, not a kit. The set contains finely printed paper sheets with the motif of German Zeltbahn shelter quarters in the tan camouflage of the Afrika Korps. The paper is chosen so that the pattern and the thickness match 1:48 scale.

The real subject

The Zeltbahn was a triangular military sheet that a German soldier used as a rain cape, as a groundsheet and as a building element of a tent. In the North African campaign light tan variants of the camouflage appeared, matching the desert surroundings.

Use

• Cut out the individual sheets and crumple them gently so that they read as cloth.
• Use them as covers draped on vehicles, as tarpaulins, shelters or as equipment with figures.
• The edges can be toned with pastel or pigment so that they blend into the scene.

Who it is for

For modelers who build dioramas and vignettes on the theme of the Afrika Korps and want a realistic textile detail without laborious shaping from other materials.

This is a printed paper diorama accessory. The model, figures, paints and glue are not included in the package.
