Double-sided painting mask for the Zero A6M2b Model 21 in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Clear Prop Models. Precisely cut kabuki masks for the cockpit glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks on thin kabuki tape for masking the glazing of a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero Model 21 fighter. The designation double-sided means that the set holds masks for the outer and the inner side of the glazing, so the framing of the Zero's long glazed cockpit gets sharp edges from both viewpoints. This is not a kit but an accessory for models of this type.
The A6M2b Model 21 was an early production version of the Japanese carrier fighter Zero. It stood out for its exceptional range and agility and became the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service in the opening phase of the war in the Pacific.
Lift the masks off the sheet, lay them on the glazing along the frames and press them down. Spray the color of the frames, let it dry and take the masks off. They follow the shape of the frames, so cutting from tape by hand is done away with, and on the Zero's many-framed cockpit that is a lengthy job.
The paints, glue and model are not included in the package.
