An injection-molded plastic kit of the U.S.S. Voyager starship in 1:670 scale from Revell. The model is made up of 67 parts and once assembled reaches a length of around 51 cm, so it is a large collector's model meant for display. A base for a striking display is included as well.
The U.S.S. Voyager (NCC-74656) is a fictional Intrepid-class starship from the series Star Trek: Voyager. Under the command of Captain Kathryn Janeway it found itself in a distant quadrant of the galaxy, and for years its crew tries to find the way home. The ship became famous for its slender, streamlined profile and the movable nacelles of its warp drive.
The large areas of the hull call for careful filling and sanding of the joints. The light-colored body is best sprayed with an airbrush, and thin washes then bring out the fine panels and the registry lettering. The movable nacelle pylons let the model be displayed in various positions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
