The box contains several pieces of the aircraft on shared sprues, intended for populating the deck of an aircraft carrier model or for a naval diorama in the same scale. The models are tiny, with a simple build and a decal sheet with American naval markings.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was the most successful American carrier fighter of the Second World War in the Pacific. It came in during 1943 and quickly gained superiority over the Japanese machines - its pilots are credited with the overwhelming majority of the US Navy's air victories in the closing stage of the war. Its rugged structure, powerful engine and good armament made it the backbone of the carrier squadrons on the Essex class ships.
Clean the molding residue off the small parts carefully and glue them with a light touch. Because of their size, a base coat with an airbrush (typically the dark blue late-war schemes), fine highlighting of the panels and discreet decals are enough. Unify the color scheme of all the pieces so that the deck looks consistent.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
