An item for ship modelers in 1:700 scale, tied by its theme to the navy of the People's Republic of China.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation PLA Navy denotes the navy of the People's Republic of China, that is, the naval branch of its armed forces. It is a fleet that has grown over the past decades from coastal defense into a maritime force with large surface vessels, and interest among modelers in its hardware therefore rises from year to year. The particular vessel and version are described on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
The 1:700 scale is the most widespread one for models of warships. The reason is simple: even a large surface unit comes out at a length that still fits into an ordinary display case, and there is still enough room for the deck equipment. At the same time it means that the parts are small and fine, so you will not manage without tweezers and a sharp knife. Builders in this scale often add photo-etched railings and nets to a model, which are bought separately.
Assemble and glue the hull on a flat surface, otherwise it will bow and the finished model cannot then be seated properly. Paint the superstructures and masts separately and fit them only once they are dry, because a brush will no longer reach between glued parts. Hold the small elements with tweezers and apply the glue in tiny drops, as any excess will run into detail you will not get back. A finished model is usually set on a base or on a separately made water surface, which is obtained separately.
Paints, glue, tools and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
