This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker IBG Models depicts the Italian heavy 3Ro truck coupled with a Viberti tank transport trailer. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with the parts on injection-molded sprues.
The 3Ro was the main heavy truck of the Italian royal army during the Second World War, powered by a five-cylinder diesel engine. It was produced in civil as well as military versions and served in the Balkans, in North Africa and on the Eastern Front. Coupled with the Viberti low-loader trailer it carried tanks and heavy equipment over longer distances.
Finish and paint the cab and the cargo bed before the final assembly; glue the small parts with liquid cement for plastic. Sandy and khaki shades, washes into the detail and light dust weathering suit Italian equipment. The combination of tractor and trailer is a good foundation for a diorama.
