This detail set contains an external 480 gallon fuel tank of the FPU-12/A type. The 3D-printed resin tank has a faithfully rendered shape, panel lines and attachment points and completes the stores of a plastic model. It is not an aircraft kit but a corrective part that raises the realism of the armament and the tanks carried.
Bulky 480 gallon tanks extend the range considerably and are often part of the combat configuration of an aircraft. A faithful tank shape raises the realism of the model.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the part, cut off the print supports and sand the surface with respiratory protection. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Check the fit on the pylon of the model before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
