A set of two resin, 3D printed auxiliary fuel tanks of 600 gallons, including the pivot pylons, in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Reskit. The tanks are intended for models of the FB-111 bomber version and complete the external stores of a model. It is not a standalone model.
Machines of the F-111 series with a variable-geometry wing carried auxiliary tanks on pylons that rotated along with the deflection of the wing. The strategic FB-111 bomber version used large tanks of 600 gallons to extend its range. A faithful rendering of the pivot pylon is characteristic of this type.
Wash the release agent off the parts, cut away the print supports and fit them to the pylons under the wing. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer coat and painting according to the scheme you choose are recommended.
The set contains accessory parts only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
