HäT 1:72 7YW PRUSSIAN COMMAND is a set of twenty-four command figures including a mounted officer.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from HäT. The box holds twenty-four figures in six poses, one of them a mounted officer. As in the other sets of this range the headgear is separate, so you can put the command group together for musketeer, fusilier or grenadier units. The figures are unpainted.
A battalion command group took in officers, a standard bearer, drummers and sergeants with halberds. In the closed line of the Seven Years War that group had a practical job: the colors gave direction, the drum set the rhythm of fire and movement, and the sergeants kept the rank straight. Without command figures a gaming or diorama formation therefore looks incomplete.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The command deserves more work than the rank and file, and it pays to pick out the lace and the sash. You can replace the flag with one of your own cut from thin foil or paper; a painted sheet then looks better than the plastic one. Seat the mounted figure in the saddle only once the horse is painted. Place the headgear with tweezers.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
