The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is a classic plastic kit to be glued and sprayed. The model captures the A-4F version with its characteristic dorsal avionics hump. The A-4 Skyhawk was a compact carrier-borne attack aircraft designed with the emphasis on small size and low weight. The A-4F version grew out of the A-4E and brought a more powerful engine and additional avionics housed in a hump on top of the fuselage. Skyhawks served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps as reliable carriers of bombs and rockets and later as trainers and aggressor machines.
In a smaller scale take care over clean joints: spray the cockpit before you close the fuselage up. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints gently. Lay the base down over a primer, ideally with an airbrush; spray a gloss coat under the decals against silvering and even the surface out with a matte clear coat at the end. Fit the external stores and the tanks at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
