Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit in the Advanced form with photo-etched parts, masks and decals, for advanced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude in 1:72 scale from Clear Prop Models. The Advanced form adds a clear sprue, a fret of photo-etched parts, painting masks and a decal sheet with several schemes to the plastic parts. The color illustrated instructions make the work easier.
The A5M was the first all-metal monoplane carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the direct predecessor of the legendary Zero. It had fixed landing gear, an open cockpit and a radial engine. The A5M4 version was the most widespread production variant; the aircraft fought over China and in the opening phase of the war in the Pacific, and later served for training as well.
Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue, protect the clear canopy with the masks and varnish it last. A natural metal finish will come out with a quality base and fine airbrush spraying; a matte varnish before the decals will prevent silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
