The detail set from the manufacturer Reskit contains four resin (3D printed) AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire anti-armor missiles in 1:72 scale. It is not a helicopter model but an accessory of external stores with which you replace coarser plastic missiles or add ordnance to a model. A resin casting offers sharp surface detail.
The AGM-114L Longbow is the radar-guided version of the Hellfire missile, working on the fire-and-forget principle. It was developed in conjunction with the millimeter-wave radar of the Apache attack helicopter in the Longbow configuration, which can acquire targets without the need to keep illuminating them with a laser. It thus makes a quick attack on several targets possible even in reduced visibility.
First wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and clean the cut surfaces up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting for better adhesion of the paint.
The set contains resin parts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
