An add-on set, not an aircraft kit. It contains two 3D-printed resin AGM-62 Walleye II ER weapons and one AN/AWG-16 data link pod in 1:72 scale by Reskit. The faithful shapes replace the simplified parts from the box.
The AGM-62 Walleye II is an American television-guided glide bomb; the ER (Extended Range) version had a longer reach. The AN/AWG-16 data link pod carried the picture and the commands between the aircraft and the weapon. This armament appeared on American naval aircraft such as the A-4, A-6, A-7, F-4 and F/A-18.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Lay down a primer before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
