AGM-84 Harpoon (A/D) - a set of two anti-ship missiles in 1:72 is a 3D-printed resin weapons accessory from Reskit for a detailed external load on naval and strike aircraft models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains two AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship guided missiles in the A and D versions, printed from resin by 3D printing and supplemented by a decal sheet with technical stencils. It is not an aircraft model but a weapons accessory meant to be carried under the wings or the fuselage. It suits a wide range of carriers, among them the P-8A, A-6, A-7E, B-1B, B-52H, F-111C, F-16, F/A-18, F-20, Nimrod MR2, AV-8B, P-3 and S-3.
The AGM-84 Harpoon is an American subsonic anti-ship missile with a flat flight path just above the surface and active radar guidance in the terminal phase. The air-launched variant became the standard anti-ship armament of a number of maritime patrol and strike machines. The A and D versions represent the older and the upgraded block with improved guidance and range.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, carefully cut them off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a filler primer before painting; the missile bodies are usually sprayed light gray or white and finished with the enclosed decals.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
