An injection-molded plastic kit of the AH-6 Night Fox light attack and reconnaissance helicopter in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The model captures the small, agile machine used by American special forces.
The AH-6 comes from the family of light helicopters derived from the 500 Defender type. In the Night Fox form it serves with American special forces for reconnaissance and night surveillance; the combination of low noise and night vision equipment makes it a quiet night fox. Thanks to its small size and agility it suits operations out of confined spaces.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Masking the cabin glazing and gluing it so that no traces of glue are left is worth doing. Lay down a primer before painting; the dark oversprayed coats and matte surfaces of special forces machines are best sprayed with an airbrush. Fit the thin rotor arms and the landing gear struts at the very end of the build, so that they do not bend.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
