The AIM-26B (Rb.27) missile is a 3D printed resin set of a guided air-to-air missile in 1:72 scale for superdetailing fighter models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This aftermarket set represents the AIM-26B guided air-to-air missile, known in Swedish service as the Rb.27. The parts are printed in resin by 3D printing with fine surface detail and serve to complete the armament of a model realistically.
The AIM-26 was an enlarged version of the American Falcon missile meant to destroy bombers. The AIM-26B version carried a conventional warhead and semi-active radar homing. It was built under license in Sweden as the Rb.27 and was used among others on Saab Draken fighters.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, separate the supports and sand the surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and use a primer before painting.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
