This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. It replaces the original plastic cockpit interior of Saab AJ-37 Viggen models in 1:72 scale with a set of precisely fitting resin parts; the masters were designed with the help of 3D technology. A color photo-etched fret with instrument panels and details is included.
The Saab 37 Viggen was a Swedish supersonic combat aircraft with a distinctive canard wing layout. The AJ-37 version served mainly for attacks on ground and naval targets. Its roomy cockpit with period instruments is a rewarding feature on a model, and the set improves it considerably.
Wash the parts free of release agent and separate them from the casting blocks; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The color photo-etched parts only need to be glued carefully in place. Paint the interior before closing the fuselage and pick out the recesses with a dark wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
