SAAB 37 Viggen (single-seater), Splinter Camo, a masking set 1:72

A set of pre-cut masking templates for applying the characteristic Swedish splinter camouflage scheme to single-seat versions of the SAAB 37 Viggen. It is neither a model nor decals but an aid that marks the sharp edges of the individual fields of the camouflage out exactly. The masks match the shape of the airframe surfaces and of the individual segments of the camouflage.

Use

• Clean and degrease the surface and apply the base, lightest shade of the camouflage.
• Lay the individual masks on according to the instructions and spray the darker shades step by step.
• Use an airbrush and apply the paint in thin layers, so that the edges stay sharp.
• Remove the masks soon after spraying, before the paint has dried completely.

For modelers building the single-seat Viggen who want to achieve exact splinter camouflage without laboriously laying it out by hand.

Paints are not included in the package. The masks are meant for spraying, ideally with an airbrush.
