Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the unusual civil business aircraft Beechcraft 2000 Starship in 1:72 scale from Amodel. The model captures the futuristic machine in its canard layout with a forward horizontal surface, rudders on the wingtips and a pair of pusher turboprop engines at the rear. It is a short-run injection-molded kit; check the exact package contents and the decal options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Beechcraft Starship was an American all-composite business aircraft of the late 1980s, technically very advanced and visually unmistakable. The canard layout with a forward surface and pusher propellers was meant to bring better aerodynamics and better use of the cabin. In its day it was a bold but commercially unsuccessful project, which has made it a sought-after rarity among aviation enthusiasts.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue clean joints with liquid cement for plastic; with a short-run kit, count on more careful cleanup and possibly filling the seams. Glue the cabin glazing carefully with canopy glue and mask it before spraying. Apply a primer before painting and apply the smooth civil finish with an airbrush; a good gloss coat under the decals will bring out the glossy surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
