A model of the last production version of the famous German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 Kurfürst in 1:72 scale from Eduard. The Dual Combo limited edition contains the parts for two complete models, plus colored photo-etched parts, painting masks and decals for nine color schemes.
The Bf 109 was the most widely used German fighter of the Second World War. The K-4 version was the final production variant from the autumn of 1944, with the Daimler-Benz DB 605D engine and the MW-50 system, armed with a 30mm MK 108 cannon firing through the propeller hub and two MG 131 machine guns.
It pays to build the model in subassemblies and to test the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
