SG07 Gundam Color Spray MS Deep Green

Gunze SG07 Gundam Color Spray MS Deep Green (lacquer spray, 100 ml)

A lacquer aerosol from Gunze in the Gundam Color Spray line. The shade MS Deep Green is the darker factory green of the robots, the Mobile Suits (MS for short), of the Zeon faction, above all of the well-known military machines of the Zaku type. The paint builds on the proven Mr.Color lacquer program, comes pre-thinned and is ready to spray: no mixing and no airbrush. The finish is gently semi-gloss, in the style of mecha models.

Deep Green vs. Green

The darker MS Deep Green (SG07) forms a natural pair with the lighter MS Green (SG06). Apply Deep Green to shadows, deeper panels and lower surfaces and the lighter Green to the main lit parts; together they give the body of the robot a three-dimensional two-tone look. (Gundam is a Japanese robot saga; Zeon is its rebel faction, and its green and gray mechs are among the icons of the whole series.)

Use

• Shake the can repeatedly before work and during it, so that the pigment stays even.
• Hold it about 25 cm away and apply several thin coats instead of one heavy one.
• Spray in warm, dry conditions; in damp and cold the paint blushes white and adheres less well.
• Let each coat become tacky before you add the next one.
• Combine it with other Mr.Color lacquers: primer, panel line accents and a final matte varnish.

Who it is for

For Gunpla builders who are putting together green Zeon robots and want the exact darker shade straight from the can. Excellent for shading in a pair with the lighter SG06.

Note: this is a lacquer. The solvent attacks plastic and is not compatible with paints on a different base, so spray thin coats, ventilate thoroughly and wear a respirator. Flammable; protect it from heat and flame.
