A set of injection-molded plastic figures of British paratroopers nicknamed the Red Devils in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The package holds a large number of figures in a range of poses and serves as a figure accessory for dioramas and battle scenes in a small scale.
The soldiers of the British 1st Airborne Division, nicknamed the Red Devils, took part in Operation Market Garden in September 1944. The figures wear paratrooper helmets and equipment, and the weapons include rifles, submachine guns, the PIAT anti-tank weapon and other period gear. The treatment is matter-of-fact and historically grounded.
Separate the small parts carefully from the sprues and clean up the seams. Brush painting with a base color and a wash that brings out the folds of the camouflage smocks and equipment works well. Skin in two layers, and a matte varnish at the end.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
