An aftermarket set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer SBS Model. The sheet brings the postwar markings of Finnish fighters, that is the national insignia and codes from the period when Finland operated a mixture of machines of various origins. The decals go onto a finished plastic kit of the matching type and scale.
After the Second World War the Finnish Air Force operated a varied range of fighters and used characteristic national insignia. The postwar markings differed from the wartime period and are attractive to modelers precisely for how specific they are and for the colorfulness of the individual machines.
Apply them over a smooth gloss coat. Release the decal in lukewarm water, move it into place and blot the excess water away. With a decal softener the decal clings to the detail and the engraved lines. Once dry, seal it with a clear coat of the sheen you want.
This is a stand-alone decal set. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
