Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the bomber Dornier Do 17K in the early version in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand RS Models. The package usually holds gray injection-molded parts, a clear glazing part, a photo-etched fret, small resin castings and a decal sheet. It is a multimedia short-run kit for more advanced modelers.
The Dornier Do 17K was the export and license-built version of the German fast bomber Do 17, produced for Yugoslavia. The airframes were delivered without engines and the Yugoslavs fitted them with license-built Gnome-Rhône radial engines, which gave them a distinctive look, different from the German machines with their liquid-cooled engines. The Do 17Ks served the Yugoslav Air Force and took part in the fighting of 1941. The early version is recognized above all by the arrangement of the engine nacelles and the nose glazing.
On a multimedia short-run kit, dry-fit the parts and clean up the sprue gates. Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as you do the photo-etched fret. The cockpit glazing calls for patient masking. Apply a primer before painting; the Yugoslav camouflage comes out well when sprayed with an airbrush with soft transitions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
