Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains twelve riders complete with horses. The figures are unpainted and the rider has to be seated in the saddle. The set belongs to the range devoted to the eleventh century on the Iberian peninsula and makes an opponent as well as an ally for the Christian units, because in the border war the sides changed often.
Andalusian light cavalry was a master of the fighting known as skirmishing with javelins. Riders on fast horses attacked in a loose formation, threw their javelins and pulled back before it came to contact. Christian fighters took this style over and added it to their own heavy cavalry. It is precisely the clash of the two ways of fighting that makes the campaigns of the eleventh century on the peninsula an interesting subject for a diorama and for play.
Wash the plastic, dry it and spray it with a flexible primer. Andalusian clothing will take strong color: white with a colorful border and colored cloaks are in place. Leave the small round shields for a simple geometric pattern. Paint the horses in muted tones and save the strength for the riders. Set the javelins into the palm only once the painting is finished.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
