Precise 3D-printed (resin) exhaust nozzles for the American fighter F-15 Eagle and Strike Eagle in 1:72 scale, made by the Ukrainian brand Reskit. The set captures the nozzles in the open position for F100-PW-220 engines and is intended for the kit from Fine Molds. Per the manufacturer's listing, it covers the A, B, C, D, early E and Japanese J versions. This is not an aircraft model, but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic nozzles.
Open nozzles with fine petals and internal structure are practically impossible to replicate in plastic at the small 1:72 scale. Printed resin captures the thin walls, sharp edges and interior of the nozzle far more accurately and lifts the realism of the model's tail section. The open position matches an aircraft with a shut-down or idling engine on the ramp.
Wash the parts to remove mold release agent, carefully separate them from the support blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding. Apply a primer before painting, paint the nozzles in steel and burnt-metal shades and bring them out with pigments.
An accessory for advanced builders, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
