An add-on set in 1:72 scale for a model of the American twin-fuselage F-82 Twin Mustang fighter. The parts are not polystyrene and are glued with cyanoacrylate glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-82 Twin Mustang is an American fighter in which the designers joined two fuselages derived from the Mustang with a common wing and a common horizontal tail surface. The result was an aircraft with two piston engines, two pilots and great range, originally intended to escort bombers on long routes over the Pacific. It no longer took part in the fighting of the Second World War, but it became the last piston fighter in the armament of the US Air Force and in some versions it also served as a night fighter with radar.
An add-on set in 1:72 scale for building a model of this aircraft. The extent of the parts, the part of the aircraft they concern and the kit they fit are given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer. The parts are not polystyrene, so they are worked differently from a plastic kit.
Cement for polystyrene will not bond these parts, so reach for cyanoacrylate glue and apply it drop by drop. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand off the remainder carefully, so that you do not shorten the part. Before painting, wash each part in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and degrease it, otherwise the paint will not hold. Dry-fit the part first and adjust the plastic part of the kit as needed, so that the insert does not have to be forced in.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
