The FAB-9000 M54, 1:72 (Amodel) is a plastic kit of a model of the Soviet heavy aerial bomb including its handling trolley.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit is not a model of an aircraft but of the Soviet FAB-9000 M54 aerial bomb itself in 1:72 scale, completed by a handling trolley. The package consists of injection-molded plastic parts and etched parts. It is the largest of the range of Soviet heavy bombs, so the model too has a respectable size and will serve as a striking accessory to aircraft or for an airfield diorama.
The FAB-9000 M54 was a Soviet high-explosive aerial bomb of the largest caliber, weighing about nine tons. Only the heaviest bombers carried it and handling it could not be done without the special trolley that is part of the kit.
Fill and sand the lengthwise joints of the massive body carefully. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A fine wash and restrained highlighting of the rivets suit a metal surface; add dust pigments to the trolley for an impression of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
