Responsibility details are not available.
A modern, newly designed plastic kit of the legendary German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in 1:72 scale from the British maker Airfix. The boxing lets you build both the A-8 fighter version and the F-8 ground attack version. The kit has finely engraved surface detail, clearly laid out molding on several sprues and a clear part for the canopy; the decal sheet enclosed offers several finishes.
The Fw 190, known by the nickname Würger, was among the most successful German fighters of the Second World War. The A-8 version was the most numerous production variant, with the BMW 801 radial engine, heavy armament and the option of carrying additional equipment. The derived F-8 was specialized for close support of ground forces and carried bomb armament.
Liquid cement for plastic and careful alignment of the fuselage halves will give clean seams. The radial engine and the gear bays deserve to have their shadows brought out. Lay a gloss varnish under the decals; late war RLM camouflage is sprayed with an airbrush with soft transitions and sealed with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
