Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight unpainted figures of French line infantry in the equipment of 1805. The figures are molded in one piece and form a basis for extensive formations, because the same range continues with light infantry, grenadiers and artillery of the same period.
Line infantry was the most numerous element of Napoleon's army in the campaign of 1805. At that time the soldiers still wore a bicorn and a long blue coat over a white waistcoat, equipment clearly different from the later pattern with the shako. The regiments were divided into fusiliers, grenadiers and voltigeurs, and in action they formed up in line or in the attack column that the French command used to break an enemy formation.
Wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Mix the blue coat darker than seems necessary, because once the edges are lightened the whole figure will read lighter. Do not paint the white trousers and gaiters in pure white but in light gray, otherwise the shadow on them disappears. With a large formation work in batches and mount the figures on bases only once the painting is finished.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
