1:72 German Regular Infantry

German regular infantry (1:72, Zvezda)

A set of plastic figures, not a vehicle model. This set in 1:72 scale from Zvezda contains figures of soldiers of the German regular infantry of the Second World War period. The figures in various combat and marching poses serve excellently to enliven dioramas and as units for tabletop wargames.

The figures and their equipment

• Soldiers of the German infantry in various poses and with period armament
• Uniforms and kit matching the Wehrmacht of the Second World War
• Figures suited to combat scenes as well as marching columns
• The parts tend to be engineered as a simple assembly, usually even without glue

Building and painting tips

Separate the small parts carefully with a sharp knife and secure the joints with cyanoacrylate glue if necessary. Paint the figures with a brush: build the flesh tone up from a skin base, darken the recesses with a wash and brighten the raised areas. Separate the gray-green Wehrmacht uniforms with transitions of shade, and pick out the details of the kit and the buckles with a dry brush.

Who the set is for

For modelers and wargamers who build Second World War dioramas in 1:72 scale and need infantry units. Working with small figures calls for patience and a steady hand when painting.

The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and accessories are not included in the package.
