Royal Model 1:72 German tanker with arms backward is a resin figure of a resting tank crewman of the Second World War, meant to bring dioramas and display models to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single resin (polyurethane) figure in 1:72 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model. It depicts a German tank crewman of the Second World War in a relaxed stance with his hands clasped behind his back. The casting stands out for the fine rendering of the uniform and of the face that quality casting resin allows. The figure is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set of parts.
The crews of German tanks wore a characteristic black uniform (gray-green with the antitank units) with a short jacket. A relaxed stance with the arms behind the back suits a figure standing by a vehicle during a break or a parade. The figure complements a scene with an armored vehicle beautifully and gives it scale and a human dimension.
First wash the parts clean of any remains of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean the mold seams up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a thin primer coat before painting; a small scale lends itself to an airbrush for the base and finishing with a brush, with the emphasis on shading the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
