A plastic kit of the German three-axle Mercedes-Benz G3a light truck in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker MAC Distribution. The package holds plastic sprues, fine etched parts, decals and instructions. The model suits a stand-alone display piece as well as part of a diorama with German vehicles of the interwar and early war period.
The Mercedes-Benz G3a was a German light truck with a 6x4 layout, used by the Wehrmacht from the 1930s. The sturdy three-axle chassis served as the basis for a whole range of purpose-built bodies, from flatbed forms to specialized signals vehicles. The vehicle is a typical representative of the standardized German automotive engineering of the time.
A small scale rewards care: clean the parts up and finish the chassis and the cab before closing them. Bond the etched features with super glue. After a primer, spray with an airbrush in gray or sand, bring out the panel lines with a wash and add dust pigments to the fenders and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
