Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker MASTER contains two complete models of the Spandau LMG 08/15 aircraft machine gun in 1:72 scale, the version with the long charging handle. The package combines turned brass, fine 3D resin and photo-etched brass parts, which together make accurate and robust replicas of the weapon. It is not an aircraft kit but a detailed armament accessory.
The LMG 08/15, known as the Spandau, was the standard synchronized aircraft machine gun of German fighters of the First World War. It was derived from the ground-based Maxim MG 08 and was the basic armament of machines such as the Fokker, the Albatros and the Pfalz. The perforated cooling jacket of the barrel is characteristic; the form of the charging handle differed between installations, which is why the manufacturer offers a version with a long as well as a short handle.
Separate the parts, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend degreasing and lightly sanding the brass parts before painting for adhesion. A metal primer, steel and blued shades and a fine accent on the cooling jacket suit the job.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
