An injection-molded plastic kit of the Heinkel He 112 prototype in the V11 version in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker RS Models. This test machine served at the end of the 1930s for further evaluation of the type. The package contains a clear canopy part and a decal sheet with several marking options.
The Heinkel He 112 competed with the Messerschmitt Bf 109 for the standard Luftwaffe fighter. Despite interesting flying qualities it did not succeed and was built only in small numbers, mostly prototypes and export machines. The V11 version was among the test airframes used for further development and trials.
This is a short-run kit with a finer breakdown of parts, so work carefully and dry-fit before gluing. Bond the parts with a liquid cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them back. A primer under the paint, an airbrush and gentle weathering to match the period finish are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
