A detail set from Special Hobby in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory for building the American HMMWV (Humvee) off-road vehicle. The set contains finely made 3D-printed wheels with a faithful tire tread. The wheels are shaped as loaded, that is with a slightly flattened contact area, which gives the model the impression of the weight of a standing vehicle.
Replacement wheels take the place of the parts from the base kit and raise the realism of the running gear, which tends to be the most conspicuous part of a vehicle. According to the manufacturer the set also contains the springs of the shock absorbers.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
