Star Decals 1:72 IDF Generic Markings No. 1 is a sheet of wet decals with the brigade and unit insignia of Israeli tanks and armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-lifted (wet) decals in 1:72 scale from the maker Star Decals. It contains universal brigade and unit recognition markings of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for tanks and armored fighting vehicles. It is a separate decal sheet, not a kit — the markings can be used across various models of Israeli equipment.
The Israel Defense Forces use a system of brigade and unit insignia on their armored equipment, which serves for the quick identification of formations. These generic insignia are not tied to a single type of vehicle, so a modeler can place them on tanks, carriers and other armored vehicles according to the particular formation he wants to render.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface provided with a gloss varnish, so that silvering does not occur under the film. At the small 1:72 scale the insignia are tiny, so after sliding them off the soaked paper use a softener and a setting solution, so that they settle onto the surface. Finally go over the area with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a decal sheet only. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
