Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of ancient Indian infantry of the fourth century BC, in 1:72 scale. It belongs to a line from which a whole Indian army can be put together, war elephants included. The figures are in soft plastic, on which ordinary cement for polystyrene will not hold and neither will paint without preparation. That is not a fault but a property of the material that you simply need to allow for.
The Indian infantry of the fourth century BC was what Alexander's army came up against on its most distant campaign. It differed from everything the Greeks knew: great numbers of archers with a massive bamboo bow that was drawn by bracing it against the ground, together with infantry carrying a long shield and a sword. War elephants completed the army, and for the Macedonian phalanx they presented an entirely new problem.
Wash the figures first in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Vary the shades of the cloth markedly between the figures - with this army uniformity would be out of place - and add colored patterns to the clothing.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
