Indochine Part 6 – R.B.C.E.O. Shermans is a Star Decals sheet of wet decals in 1:72 with the markings of French Sherman tanks from Indochina.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sixth part of the Indochina series from Star Decals in 1:72 scale. A sheet of water-lifted decals with the markings of the French medium Sherman tanks in several variants, as the R.B.C.E.O. regiment deployed them. It is not a kit but sheets of markings for finished models of various forms of the Sherman.
The Sherman was the most widespread Allied medium tank of the Second World War and in its numerous variants it served after it as well. The French units deployed it during the war in Indochina. The sheet covers several forms, among others the versions with a howitzer and with a longer gun, thanks to which the markings can be matched to the particular build variant of a model. The vehicles carried French tactical numbers, names of the machines and unit markings.
Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish base, cut the motif out, soak it briefly and slide it into place. A softening solution will help a decal flow around the edges of the hull and the turret; a final matte varnish will unify the markings with the surrounding paint.
The product is a set of decals. The model of the tank, the paints and the softening solutions are not included in the package.
