An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet experimental all-weather interceptor Lavochkin La-200B in 1:72 scale from AA Models. Besides the plastic parts, the package contains photo-etched parts, self-adhesive masks and decals. This is a kit for a modeler interested in rare prototypes; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The La-200 was a Soviet two-seat experimental all-weather fighter aircraft of the early 1950s with the seats of the pilot and the radar operator side by side. The La-200B variant had a redesigned nose with a large radome and a more powerful radar, intended for night and all-weather interceptions. The machine never got into series production and remained at the prototype stage.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the seams down. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue; the masks supplied make spraying the canopy frames easier. Attach the large radome nose firmly and clean the joint up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
