Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of late Roman infantry in 1:72 scale. It captures an army that no longer looks like the legions of the textbooks: the late Roman soldier differs from his predecessor of the first century in his armor, his shield and his weapons. The figures of this line are in soft plastic, on which ordinary cement for polystyrene will not hold and neither will paint without preparation.
The late Roman infantry laid aside the rectangular shield and the short sword and moved to a large oval shield, a longer sword and a spear. The armor was lighter and many soldiers had none at all, because the army had to be brought back up to strength quickly. The shields carried the colored devices of the individual units, which are recorded in period lists, so the modeler has particular patterns to follow.
Wash the figures first in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the shields separately and glue them on at the end, because it is their devices that identify the unit and they would be hard to paint on the figure.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
