Reskit 1:72 LAU-10 ZUNI rocket launcher (2 pcs) is a pair of resin, 3D printed rocket pods for unguided ZUNI rockets of 127 mm caliber. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the armament of kits in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two resin, 3D printed LAU-10 launchers for ZUNI rockets of 127 mm caliber. This is neither an aircraft model nor a kit in its own right: it is an external stores accessory with which you replace the coarser plastic parts from the basic kit or add armament that the kit does not offer at all. The parts are intended for models in 1:72 scale. The manufacturer is Reskit, which specializes in 3D printed accessories for plastic models.
The ZUNI is an American unguided aircraft rocket of 127 mm (5 inch) caliber with folding fins, used by the armed forces of the USA, by the Navy, the Marine Corps and other branches. Its most widespread carrier became the LAU-10 series pod, which carries four ZUNI rockets in a common tubular body. This armament appeared on a wide range of American combat and attack aircraft from the era of the Vietnam War on.
For modelers who build American combat aircraft in 1:72 and want armament with sharp detail instead of soft injection-molded parts. Working with resin takes a little experience, but fitting the launchers onto the pylons is within reach even of a moderately advanced modeler.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
