A plastic kit of the Letov S-328 in 1:72 scale from Smer. The Czechoslovak reconnaissance and light bomber biplane of the interwar era.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech manufacturer Smer capturing the Letov S-328, one of the most widespread Czechoslovak military aircraft of the 1930s. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The package offers parts for the version with a wheeled undercarriage as well as with floats, and a decal sheet with several marking options.
The Letov S-328 was a Czechoslovak two-seat reconnaissance and light bomber biplane built in Letnany near Prague. It first flew at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s and became the most numerous machine of its kind in the prewar Czechoslovak Air Force. It was also used during the Second World War, among other occasions during the Slovak National Uprising.
This is a classic kit of an older tooling, where it pays to clean up the parting flash and to assemble the parts dry first. The biplane layout calls for patience when seating the struts and any rigging. A thin cement for plastic works well, along with a little filling at the transitions and a gloss coat before the decals. The choice between the wheeled and the float version will determine the final form and the base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
