An injection-molded plastic kit of the German LVG C.VI reconnaissance and observation biplane of the First World War in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The model captures the typical two-seat machine with a wooden structure and fabric covering. The kit is supplied as a set of plastic parts to be glued and painted.
The LVG C.VI was a two-seat German reconnaissance and observation aircraft of the end of the First World War, built by Luft-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft. It served for reconnaissance, artillery spotting and light bombing. It was an accomplished and reliable machine of its day, and a small number survived even after the war.
A biplane calls for patience when gluing the interplane struts and tightening the rigging, which gives the model its fidelity. Glue with thin cement for plastic; matte paints and fine accentuation of the ribbing suit the fabric surfaces. The base is a primer, and the final coat can be done with an airbrush or a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
