Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:32 scale, the fifty-four millimeter size, from HäT. The box holds sixteen figures in four poses together with their weapons. The soft plastic comes unpainted. The set belongs to the Punic branch of the range in this scale, in which the manufacturer offers further Roman and Carthaginian units as well.
The triarii were the third and most experienced line of the Roman republican formation. They were made up of older men with the best equipment and, unlike the front lines, which fought with the short sword and the throwing spear, they relied on a long spear. They went into action only in the last resort, and from that comes the saying that matters have come to the triarii, meaning that things are getting serious.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The larger scale takes detail: pick out the eyes, the rings of the mail and the texture of the shield. Keep the bronze fittings warmer than the steel ones, as the difference between the metals shows well at this size. The spear is long and thin, so glue it on at the very end and do not hold the figure by it.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
