An injection-molded plastic model of the American M2A3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle with the BUSK III kit in 1:72 scale from Meng. It is a new tooling with a modular structure and an easy build; the box contains clear parts for the transparent elements and a decal sheet. The model therefore offers handsome detail and a comfortable build even in the smaller scale.
The M2 Bradley is an American tracked infantry fighting vehicle meant to carry a squad of soldiers and to give fire support. The M2A3 version is one of the updated forms with improved electronics and reconnaissance equipment. The BUSK III package (Bradley Urban Survivability Kit) is a set of modifications that raise the survivability of the vehicle: among them are measures for the fuel system, a more resistant driver's seat and features that improve the protection of the crew, above all in urban combat.
On an armored vehicle, assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before you close it up. In the smaller scale the parts are tiny, so glue them with liquid modeling cement and a light touch. Apply primer and spray the paints with an airbrush in thin coats; a modern gray-green or desert scheme comes alive with a wash into the recesses and fine dust pigments for the look of service use.
