This presentation board of acrylic 3 mm thick and 280 x 180 mm in size carries a realistic printed motif of rusting pierced steel planking of the PSP type, of the kind used for improvised airfield surfaces. The rusty, worn look gives an aircraft model in 1:72 scale a credible front-line setting. The board is solid, flat and ready for immediate use.

How to use the base

• Degrease the board and get the dust off it before displaying, so that the pattern of the steel matting comes out.
• The model can simply be laid on the area, or it can be discreetly secured.
• Fit the underside with non-slip pads so that the board does not slide on a shelf.
• The rusty motif goes splendidly with a faded, dusty model that has been weathered.

For modelers who want to display a finished aircraft model on a credible improvised airfield surface without the laborious building of a diorama. It is also suited to quick preparation for a show or for photography.
